Tax Returns Priced by the Pixel

Work can be priced by the hour.

A tax return can be priced by the hour.

A tax return could also be priced by the:

  1. Form or Schedule count

  2. total page count

  3. weight of the printed version

  4. thickness of the printed version

  5. the volume of the printed version

  6. temperature of the paper of the printed version

  7. pixel-count of the digital version

  8. size of the file of the digital version

  9. the number of seconds required to produce it

For each of the above, I hope the question running through your mind is,

“What does that (unit of measure) have to do with anything?”
