What you do vs. what you sell

There’s what you do, and there’s what you sell.

Contractors do construction, but they sell a house, a place to live, a place to be with loved ones.

Engineers do equations, but they sell culverts under roads, quieter jet engines, buildings that hang out at the right temperature.

Therapists do therapy, but they sell relief from pain.

Just because you do accounting, doesn’t mean it’s best to sell accounting.
