Price the value, not the work

Recently, I mentioned that it’s not HOURS but VALUE that makes money.

Many accountants focus on selling more hours and deliverables to more clients to increase revenue.

They don’t focus on creating more value to increase revenue.

Wondering what clients value – beyond the work itself?

  • Proactivity

  • Prompt responses

  • Knowing you’ve got their back

  • Anything that saves them time and energy

  • Clarity around numbers to make better decisions

  • Access to your brain for clear guidance, expertise, and answers

Notice something?

None of the above ^^^^^ necessarily requires you to work more.

If you price and sell work, you’ll have to deliver work.

If you price and sell value that doesn’t require work, you won’t have to work as much.

It might sound obvious… but doing it isn't.

Want to learn how to price and sell value – so you can work fewer hours while making the same (or more) profit?

That’s exactly what we work on inside my community, Peak Freedom.

It’s where solo and small-firm CPAs learn how to ditch the grind, price for value, and build a calm, profitable practice.
