Who you serve — waaaaaaaay more specifically than “growing businesses”
What you sell — waaaaaaaay more specifically than “full service,” which is a recipe for being all over the map
How long it takes — which you cannot know if you do custom work for everyone
(You have to deliver the same product repeatedly to know this.)The price you deliver at — and that price is not a function of cost. Price is a function of value, and you can set prices anywhere you like, to guide buying decisions and shape where your firm is going.
None of this is glamorous.
But it’s effective.
